GymFusion Terms & Conditions

📄 1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using GymFusion ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

The App is developed and maintained by Ahmed Ali ("Service Provider", "we", "us", "our").

💪 2. Service Description

GymFusion is a fitness and nutrition tracking application that provides:

• Workout logging and progress tracking
• Nutrition and calorie tracking with meal scanning
• AI-powered coaching, meal plans, and body composition analysis
• Water intake tracking
• Progress visualization and health data integration via Apple HealthKit
• Recipe library and grocery list management

The App is provided as a Freemium service with optional premium features available through in-app subscriptions.

👤 3. User Account

You may create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the App.

💳 4. Subscriptions & Payments

GymFusion offers optional premium subscriptions with enhanced features. Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store settings
• No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of any subscription period, except as required by applicable law

Prices may change with notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

🤖 5. AI-Powered Features

GymFusion includes AI-powered features such as coaching, meal scanning, body composition analysis, and workout recommendations. By using these features, you acknowledge:

• AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, nutritional, or professional fitness advice
• Body fat estimates, calorie counts, and other AI analyses are approximations and may not be fully accurate
• You should consult qualified healthcare professionals before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine
• AI features require an internet connection and may be unavailable during outages

⚕️ 6. Health & Fitness Disclaimer

GymFusion is a fitness tracking tool, not a medical device. The App and its content are provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

• The App does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment
• Consult your physician before starting any exercise program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions
• You exercise at your own risk. The Service Provider is not liable for injuries, health issues, or adverse effects resulting from following any information provided by the App
• Calorie calculations, macro recommendations, and body composition estimates are approximations

✅ 7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
• Use the App to transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Share your account credentials with others
• Misuse AI features to generate harmful or misleading content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

©️ 8. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including but not limited to the design, code, text, graphics, logos, icons, recipes, workout templates, and AI-generated content — is the property of the Service Provider or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any personal data and content you create within the App (workout logs, photos, meal entries, etc.).

🔒 9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

🔗 10. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services that have their own terms and privacy policies:

• Apple HealthKit — governed by Apple's terms
• Firebase (Google) — firebase.google.com/terms
• Google Sign-In — policies.google.com/terms

We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

📡 11. Availability & Updates

We strive to keep the App available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

• Release updates that modify, add, or remove features
• Temporarily suspend the App for maintenance
• Discontinue the App or any feature at any time with reasonable notice

Some features require an active internet connection and may not be available offline.

⚖️ 12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
• The Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• The Service Provider's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim
• The Service Provider is not responsible for any health issues, injuries, or adverse effects resulting from use of the App or following its recommendations

🚫 13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

📝 14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

For significant changes, we will provide notice through the App or via email.

🏛️ 15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service Provider operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
